Courier Terms & Conditions

1. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee of LNT Services. You are responsible for your own taxes, vehicle, insurance, fuel, maintenance, and any costs associated with performing deliveries.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must hold a valid driver's license valid in the State of Kansas or Missouri.
  • You must carry current vehicle registration and minimum state-required auto insurance.
  • You must pass a basic background and motor vehicle records check.

3. Vehicle & Equipment

You agree to maintain your vehicle in safe, legal, working condition. You must provide your own smartphone with data service to receive and complete deliveries through the LNT Services driver app.

4. Service Area

Deliveries are performed within a 50-mile radius of Kansas City, MO. You may decline assignments that fall outside your preferred operating area.

5. Conduct & Safety

  • Obey all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
  • No use of alcohol or controlled substances while on an active delivery.
  • Treat customers, merchants, and the public with courtesy and respect.
  • Handle all packages with care and protect customer privacy.

6. Payment

You will be paid per completed delivery according to the current LNT Services driver rate card. Payouts are issued on a weekly basis. Tips are passed through 100% to the driver.

7. Proof of Delivery

You agree to capture clear pickup and delivery photos through the driver app as proof of completion. Photos are retained for customer support and dispute resolution.

8. Prohibited Items

You will not knowingly transport firearms, illegal drugs, hazardous materials, live animals, or any item prohibited by law.

9. Termination

Either party may end this engagement at any time, with or without cause. LNT Services may deactivate your account immediately for safety violations, fraud, or customer harm.

10. Limitation of Liability

LNT Services is a small local courier — not a big corporation — and is not liable for damage to your vehicle, personal injury, or lost income arising from your independent contracting work, except as required by law.

11. Acceptance

By checking the "I accept the Courier Terms & Conditions" box during sign-up, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
